The Plano City Council is set to hear more from the owners of land being proposed for a solar farm \u2014 and, as of last month, a data center.<\/p>\n
Savion, the company behind the proposed Plano Skies Solar Farm north of Plano, announced Mon\u2026<\/p>\n
The presentation is scheduled for the council\u2019s committee of the whole meeting on Monday, following the regular city council meeting, which starts at 6 p.m. at Plano City Hall, 17 E. Main Street.<\/p>\n
Black Dirt Farms LLC will argue that solar is the best use of the land at several sites north of Plano.<\/p>\n
Also on the agenda is the approval of city bills totaling about $870,000, discussion of the purchase of a van for the water and sewer departments, and approval of the city\u2019s trick-or-treat hours.<\/p>\n
