EL PASO, Texas \u2014 A 14-year-old girl died after jumping out of a moving vehicle in Northeast El Paso, police said. The incident marks the 62nd traffic fatality for 2025.<\/p>\n
Police responded to the 5700 block of Wren on December 28, 2025, for a welfare check and found the girl with a head laceration. Initially, it was unclear if she had been struck by a vehicle.<\/p>\n
The Special Traffic Investigations unit took over the case, revealing that the girl had jumped from a 2011 Dodge Journey driven by 42-year-old Ivon Duarte, also of Northeast El Paso, Texas. The girl, identified as Allyson Torres, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and died on January 3, 2025, according to the medical examiner’s office.<\/p>\n
