A new high-end Mexican restaurant has debuted in North San Antonio, offering both classic eats and specialty recipes.<\/p>\n
Tulum Mexican Cuisine officially opened Nov. 20, restaurant management told Community Impact. The eatery is located at 17026 Bulverde Road, Ste. 112, just south of Loop 1604 and Stone Oak.<\/p>\n
The restaurant was previously home to Rusty Tacos at the Bulverde Marketplace shopping center.<\/p>\n
On the menu is a variety of traditional Mexican cuisine, according to the restaurant\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

Hill said she hopes to begin offering barbecue again in the future.<\/p>\n See more details.<\/a><\/p>\n The Sicilian Butcher and its bakery, the Sicilian Baker, is now open in Landmark North along Loop 1604.<\/p>\n Offering handmade pasta daily, the Italian eatery\u2019s menu also features a wide selection of appetizers, salads, pizza and signature dishes.<\/p>\n Appetizers include eggplant and \u2018nduja croquettes, shrimp and calamari, and Italian Saganaki, which is grilled ciabatta with imported Kefalotyri cheese flambeed table-side.<\/p>\n Keep reading.<\/a><\/p>\n Dining spotlight<\/p>\n After traveling to wineries across Portugal, Spain and the rest of Europe, Abigail Porter and Matt Bizer wanted to bring the same flavors and atmosphere back to Texas.<\/p>\n \u201cWe always thought New Braunfels needed something like they have over there,\u201d Bizer said.<\/p>\n That\u2019s why Bizer and Porter opened up Favorite Neighbor in July, a wine bar that offers not only tastings but also a sense of community and trying new things.<\/p>\n \u201cWe kind of did this on a whim,\u201d Porter said. \u201cBut so far, it\u2019s been pretty fun.”<\/p>\n Located inside a converted gas station at 494 N.
