CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 Bingo is getting a serious glow-up in Corpus Christi this week.<\/p>\n
Bingo Loco, a touring \u201cName That Song\u201d bingo concert party, is bringing its high-energy, nightclub-style show to the Mansion Royal Event Center near Ennis Joslin on Friday.<\/p>\n
Organizers describe the experience as a loud, interactive bingo party complete with comedian MCs, DJs spinning hits from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, dance-offs, lip-sync battles, confetti cannons, special effects and crowd challenges.<\/p>\n
According to the event\u2019s promoters, prizes range from vacations to novelty giveaways such as lawnmowers and oversized teddy bears. Prizes are awarded through crowd challenges and skill-based games that invite participants to join the action in front of the crowd.<\/p>\n
The event will take place at the Mansion Royal Event Center, 8001 South Padre Island Drive.<\/p>\n
Two shows are scheduled Friday. The early show runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m. The late show runs from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with doors opening at 9 p.m.<\/p>\n
The event is open to adults 21 and older. A valid ID is required for entry.<\/p>\n
