We\u2019ve been to a lot of different shows. And you could kind of tell one dancer is a little off or a little bit faster than the other one. And all the dancers here, all of them sync. It looks like one dancer,\u201d Mr. Morales said.<\/p>\n<p>Shen Yun, based in New York, is on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shenyunperformingarts.org\/our-story\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"article-hover-class\">mission<\/a> to present \u201cChina before communism,\u201d and revive people\u2019s connection with 5,000 years of Chinese civilization and culture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI liked the energy of the dancers. I love that part of Chinese culture that really inspires me to try something new and remember that we have energy that is really important in our body, and everything flows like water in us,\u201d Ms. Rojas said.<\/p>\n<p>Shen Yun\u2019s artists are trained in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shenyun.org\/classical-chinese-dance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"article-hover-class\">classical Chinese dance<\/a>, one of the most comprehensive dance systems in the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat was amazing. I can feel the connection with the dancer and what they\u2019re trying to transmit to the people that are watching. So, that was incredible,\u201d Ms. Rojas said.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Rojas was struck by the femininity of the female dancers. \u201cThat was awesome. They\u2019re so delicate,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from perfecting their art, Shen Yun\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shenyunperformingarts.org\/discover-the-heart-of-shen-yun\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"article-hover-class\">artists<\/a> are also dedicated to improving themselves from the inside out with the teaching of Falun Dafa. Shen Yun\u2019s website states that Falun Dafa\u2019s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are something the artists strive toward every day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re really focusing on their culture and the meditation process. They\u2019re not just doing it, maybe for the money or for the love of it, but they believe because of their belief system. And it shows in the dance, and it shows definitely in the choreography and everything. So, it\u2019s really nice.
