EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 The driver of the crash in Northeast El Paso, where a pickup truck plowed through a bedroom, sending a grandmother to the hospital, has been identified. <\/p>\n
According to the crash report, 67-year-old Carlos Molinar is identified as the driver of the 2024 blue Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that crashed through a home near Sun Valley and Sharp Drive, near McCombs Street, on Monday evening.<\/p>\n
The report lists “intoxicated-alcohol” as a contributing factor to the crash. <\/p>\n
El Paso Fire reported the call came in just after 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
Both the grandmother and Molinar were taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n
Police confirmed that charges have been filed; however, no arrests have been made yet.<\/p>\n

The amount of debris and the impact that she received from that truck being projected into her bedroom is something that will never leave my mind.”<\/p>\n The aftermath left a massive pile of debris, with the wall completely boarded up.<\/p>\n Figueroa shared an update on his grandmother’s condition: <\/p>\n God is great. She is fortunately here in her home.
