HOUSTON \u2013 A beloved tale returns – bigger and brighter Disney\u2019s Beauty and the Beast returned to Houston this week as part of Memorial Hermann Broadway at the Hobby Center, kicking off a limited North American tour that marks Disney\u2019s first tour of the show in more than 25 years. Based on the Oscar-winning 1991 animated film, the stage version features the Tony- and Oscar-nominated score including \u201cBe Our Guest\u201d and the classic title ballad.<\/p>\n

Leading the production is Kyra Belle Johnson<\/a>, the Los Angeles native and Texas State University musical-theatre grad whose name seems made for the role.
