EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 A 26-year-old man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly crashed into another vehicle while driving drunk with two kids in the car.<\/p>\n
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, Tyrese Riley was driving a vehicle with a three-year-old and a six-year-old when he allegedly crashed into another car while driving east through I-10 near mile marker 39 in El Paso County, at around 4:42 a.m.<\/p>\n
Responding deputies described Riley as showing “clear signs of intoxication.”<\/p>\n
Sheriff’s Office said that after a breathalyzer test, Riley showed he had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.12 (0.08 is the legal limit in Texas).<\/p>\n
RECOMMENDED: Motorcyclist arrested for DWI in Horizon City after he was caught speeding<\/a><\/p>\n Furthermore, after a background check, the Sheriff’s Office stated deputies learned Riley had nine outstanding traffic warrants. <\/p>\n Riley was taken to the El Paso County Downtown Jail, where he was booked and charged with DWI with a child under 15 years of age, with a bond set at $10,000.<\/p>\n According to jail records, Riley was released from jail on Monday after posting a personal recognizance bond.<\/p>\n Jail records show Riley’s outstanding warrants were from offenses from 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.<\/p>\n
