The Seahawks picked up a solid 20-10 road victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6, covering as a 1-point favorite as the Under (47.5) hit. QB Sam Darnold was sharp, throwing for 295 yards and 2 TDs. WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught 8 passes for 162 yards and a score. I like the Seahawks (-175) to take care of business at home Monday night, but there are better odds on the spread.<\/p>\n

Seattle is coming off a convincing win in Jacksonville and has been one of the most efficient teams in football through 6 weeks. The Seahawks\u2019 defense ranks among the top 10 in both points allowed and DVOA, while their pass rush has been relentless, boasting an 8.1% sack rate that should cause problems for Houston\u2019s offensive line \u2014 a unit that\u2019s already surrendered 11 sacks and ranks near the bottom in both pass- and run-block win rate.<\/p>\n

On the other side, Darnold has been sensational, leading the league with 9.3 yards per attempt and ranking near the top in overall efficiency metrics. He\u2019s clearly thriving under Seattle\u2019s system, distributing the ball with confidence to a deep receiver corps led by Smith-Njigba.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Texans feel a bit overvalued after wins over a pair of struggling teams. Their offensive line can\u2019t keep Stroud upright, and their defense will face one of the NFL\u2019s most balanced offenses on the road in one of the league\u2019s loudest stadiums.<\/p>\n

Seattle is the better team, with the better quarterback, at home \u2014 and laying just 3 points.<\/p>\n

BET UNDER 41 (-110).<\/p>\n

The Under has been the right play for both teams this season. It\u2019s cashed in 4 of the Texans\u2019 5 games, thanks to a defense allowing an NFL-best 12.2 points per game. Seattle has also leaned defensive, with the Under hitting in 2 of its last 3. The Seahawks rank sixth in the league, holding opponents to 19.5 points per contest.<\/p>\n
