Thunderstorms are expected across much of Southeast Texas as a cold front approaches the region Friday.<\/p>\n

As of 3 p.m., a few scattered thunderstorms have developed in Harris, Montgomery and Liberty counties. <\/p>\n

Other storms are expected to fire up ahead of the front, with the heaviest storms expected north of Houston during the day before transitioning into the city this evening.<\/p>\n

Some of the storms could be strong to severe. The main threats with any stronger storms will be damaging winds and hail. <\/p>\n
