A worker at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas posted a video identifying Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents staying at the hotel. The next day, The Dallas Express learned she is no longer employed.<\/p>\n
The worker, who identified herself as \u201cGia,\u201d posted a video on TikTok on January 7, warning<\/a> viewers that ICE agents were staying at the hotel.<\/p>\n The Dallas Express visited the hotel on January 8, where a manager declined to comment.<\/p>\n A spokeswoman later followed up, confirming that Gia worked for a third-party parking company and is no longer employed.<\/p>\n A Hilton spokeswoman said the individual in the video was not a Hilton employee and that the company contacted the third-party parking operator regarding the incident.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are aware of a video that has been shared on social media by an individual who is not a Hilton employee,\u201d the spokeswoman said to DX. \u201cWe respect the privacy of all our guests and addressed directly with the third-party parking company who has advised us that the individual is no longer employed by their company.\u201d<\/p>\n The Dallas Express reached out to ICE for comment but did not receive a response before publication.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n In the video, Gia warned viewers that ICE agents were staying at the hotel and acknowledged that posting the video could cost her job.<\/p>\n \u201cMy name is Gia, and I just wanted to give a warning to y\u2019all that there are ICE agents staying at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas,\u201d she said. \u201cQuite frankly, I don\u2019t really care if I lose my job, because I could get in trouble for posting this.\u201d<\/p>\n Gia said she did not care about this, because she cares \u201cmore about your families and about unity.\u201d She asked viewers to warn their families.
