CYPRESS, Texas – A teen was flown to a hospital after a shooting reported in the Cypress area, according to the Harris County sheriff.<\/p>\n

The shooting was reported on Westgate Park Drive<\/a>, near Barker Cypress Road and FM-529.<\/p>\n Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says<\/a> a teen had been shot and was taken to an emergency room. The teen was then flown to a hospital via LifeFlight.<\/p>\n The victim is said to be in critical condition.<\/p>\n Investigators and detectives are responding to the scene.<\/p>\n What we don’t know:<\/p>\n The victim is believed to be 16 years old, but that hasn’t been confirmed at this time.<\/p>\n Other details are not available.<\/p>\n This is a breaking news report.
