The issuance of bonds in the amount of $49,000,000 for designing, demolishing, constructing, renovating, improving, expanding, upgrading and equipping public safety facilities, including a new public safety facility and animal shelter, and the levying of a tax in payment of the principal of and interest on the bonds and the cost of any credit agreements.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cowtx.org\/1989\/2025-Bond-Election\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">According to the city website<\/a>, the $49 million bond would fund projects such as building a new, modern police headquarters and expanding and upgrading the animal shelter.<\/p>\n<p>Proposition B states: &#8220;THIS IS A TAX INCREASE.
