EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) — San Elizario graduate Ricardo Pepi suffered a forearm fracture while scoring for PSV Eindhoven on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old has scored 11 goals in 22 matches for the club. Pepi is expected to undergo surgery and be sideline for 2 months. <\/p>\n

Prior to the injury, El Paso native was expected to be a strong contender for the 2026 World Cup in June for the United States National team. However, this injury may pose a setback. <\/p>\n
