El Paso police served a warrant during a large operation, including SWAT officers and armored vehicles, late Sunday morning in a neighborhood in the far East Side.<\/p>\n

Officers served the warrant at about 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at a home in the area of Vere Leasure Drive off Nolan Richardson Drive, according to a police media message and video posted on social media.<\/p>\n

No further information on the focus of the warrant or whether anyone had been arrested was disclosed.<\/p>\n
