FRISCO, Texas \u2014 All Frisco ISD locations were secured Monday morning after the district received threatening emails, district officials said.<\/p>\n
No one is allowed in or out of all Frisco ISD campuses as of 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, according to a social media post from Frisco ISD.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The campuses were placed on secured status out of “an abundance of caution,” according to the post. The email threats are believed to be non-credible, officials said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“The Frisco Police Department has reviewed the information and currently believes the threat to be non-credible,” Frisco ISD said in a statement. “Campus School Resource Officers and principals are conducting perimeter checks at each campus, and police and district administrators remain on-site to continue monitoring and securing school facilities.”<\/p>\n
Frisco ISD did not provide any additional information about the investigation.
