The schedule will include four camps held twice apiece.<\/p>\n<p>5-Day All Skills Camp ($375)<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe Five-Day All-Around Skills Camp is organized to suit all levels (participants will be separated by age and skill). Monday and Tuesday will be focused on serving and passing while Wednesday and Thursday will key on attacking, setting and defense. This camp is designed for athletes 9-14 years of age and recommended for all athletes looking to be better prepared for their school season. The 5-day All Skills Camp will be offered in two sessions this year: June 8-12 and June 15-19. All camps will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. Lunch is NOT provided, but there will be an hour lunch period given.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n2-Day Serve &amp; Pass Camp ($185)<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe Two-Day Serve and Pass Camp is organized to suit all levels (participants will be separated by ages 9-14 and skill). Training will be geared for all abilities, from the beginner to the advanced player with an emphasis on serving and passing. This camp is recommended for all players wanting to strengthen their serve and sharpen their passing. The Two-Day Serve and Pass Camp\u00a0will be offered in two sessions this year: June 8-9 and June 15-16. All camps will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. Lunch is NOT provided, but there will be an hour lunch period given.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n2-Day Setter, Hitter and Defense Camp ($185)<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe Setter, Hitter and Defense Camp is organized to suit athletes 9-14 years of age (participants will be separated by age and skill). Training will be geared toward all levels, from the beginner to the advanced player, with an emphasis on setting, attacking and defense. This camp is recommended for setters wanting to work on connecting with hitters while improving location, for hitters looking to develop as potent attackers and defenders learning how to read situations. The Setter, Hitter and Defense Two-Day Camp will be offered in two sessions this year: June 10-11 and June 17-18. All camps will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. Lunch is NOT provided, but there will be an hour lunch period given.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n1-Day Elite Volleyball Camp ($135)<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe Elite Single Day Volleyball Camp is designed for athletes 9-18 who are looking to take their skills to the next level. The camp is designed to emulate UTA drills, skills and culture that you will be able to take back to your teams in the fall. We will focus on six major skills (passing, setting, blocking, defense, serving and attacking) and incorporate speed, team systems and strategies to broaden your knowledge and skill set for the game. This camp is designed for those who play high school volleyball, club volleyball and\/or want to continue to play volleyball at the highest level. The Elite Single Day Volleyball Camp will be offered in two sessions this year: June 12 and June 19. All camps will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. Lunch is NOT provided, but there will be an hour lunch period given.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nWHAT YOU GET<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nIndividual camps will include a free UTA Camp t-shirt.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nWHAT TO BRING<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nCampers should bring their own lunch, a water bottle, medications, knee pads and any other snacks\/accessories necessary to make it through the day.\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nLOCATION<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe primary location for the camps will be the Maverick Activities Center (MAC) at 500 West Nedderman Drive in Arlington, TX 76013. The secondary location* will be the College Park Center (CPC) at 601 Spaniolo Drive in Arlington, TX 76019. Cash and checks are not accepted. For cancellations, a camp credit to a future UTA volleyball camp is available upon request. Advanced sign up is strongly encouraged, but walk-ups will be allowed if maximum capacity has not been met.
