Improvements include pavement reconstruction, bridge repair, drainage improvements and street light replacement, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Update: Construction was anticipated to begin in December 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Timeline: October 2025-late 2027Cost: $22.99 millionFunding sources: city of Frisco, external funding2. US 380 widening<\/p>\n<p>Project: The Texas Department of Transportation is widening <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/prosper-celina\/transportation\/2026\/01\/06\/roundup-10-roadway-updates-from-prosper-celina\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">US 380<\/a> from the Collin County and Denton County line to Loop 288 from four lanes to six lanes.<\/p>\n<p>Update: Traffic switches are ongoing along US 380 as construction progresses.<\/p>\n<p>Timeline: January 2022-March 2026Cost: $175.66 millionFunding sources: TxDOT, other entities3. Communications Parkway asphalt overlay in Plano<\/p>\n<p>Project: Crews are working on arterial concrete overlays.<\/p>\n<p>Update: Arterial concrete repairs on <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/plano-north\/transportation\/2026\/01\/06\/10-roadwork-construction-updates-in-plano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Communications Parkway<\/a> from Legacy Drive wrapped up in December.<\/p>\n<p>Timeline: January 2025-December 2025Cost: $1.53 millionFunding source: city of PlanoTarrant County<\/p>\n<p>4.
