There were hundreds of El Pasoans at the protests, according to several participants. El Paso\u2019s event was one of around 2,500 events across the country.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Handbook-Winning-El-Paso-Elections\/dp\/0988411334\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"970\" height=\"250\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/election_book_ad1.png\" alt=\"Advertiser banner\" class=\"wp-image-131\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Saturday\u2019s protest follows the first No Kings protests held on June 14. The protestors are protesting the use of the National Guard across the country and the heightened immigration crackdowns.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"562\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/nkd_4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-603\"  \/>El Paso No Kings Day, October 18, 2025, Michael Jasso, photojournalist\/El Paso Herald Post<\/p>\n<p>El Paso law enforcement reported that no arrests were made related to the El Paso protests.<\/p>\n<p>After initially <a href=\"https:\/\/elpasoheraldpost.com\/2025\/10\/16\/what-to-know-about-the-second-no-kings-day-in-el-paso\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">labeling<\/a> the protests as a \u201chate America rally,\u201d the Republicans have remained mostly silent about them. The local Republican Party has not publicly commented on the protests.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"562\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/nkd_1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-601\"  \/>El Paso No Kings Day, October 18, 2025, Michael Jasso, photojournalist\/El Paso Herald Post<\/p>\n<p>Donald Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/trump-reacts-no-kings-protests-saying-im-not-king-i-work-my-ass-off\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reacted<\/a> to the protests on Sunday telling Fox New that \u201cI\u2019m not a king, I work my ass off.\u201d Trump added that the protestors were \u201cnot representative of this country,\u201d blaming George Soros for supporting \u201cother radical left lunatics.\u201d On Thursday, Ted Cruz <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/video\/6382821976112\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told<\/a> Fox News that \u201cthere is considerable evidence that George Soros\u201d is behind what he characterized as the \u201criots across the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"562\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/nkd_3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-602\"  \/>El Paso No Kings Day, October 18, 2025, Michael Jasso, photojournalist\/El Paso Herald Post<\/p>\n<p>This morning, the Trump Administration <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/trump-admin-investigate-no-kings-protests-soros-10903951\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> that they will be investigating Soros\u2019 funding of the No Kings protests.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers behind the protests <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nokings.org\/news\/nearly-7-million-people-attend-overwhelmingly-peaceful-no-kings-day-of-action\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">posted<\/a> on their website that \u201cnearly 7 million people\u201d attended Saturday\u2019s protests. The number could not be independently verified.
