As temperatures drop across the Borderland, the City of El Paso has officially opened warming centers for anyone who needs a safe place to stay warm. These spaces are available to residents experiencing insufficient heating at home or anyone with a temporary need for warmth during cold conditions.<\/p>\n
The city has designated both recreation centers and public libraries as warming locations, each operating on specific schedules.<\/p>\n
WATER MAIN BREAK UPDATE: <\/p>\n
REC CENTERS IN THE NORTHEAST REMAIN OPEN BUT WITHOUT MOST WATER UTILITY SERVICES SUCH AS WATER FOUNTAINS. NATION TOBINS REC CENTER REMAINS OPEN AS A WARMING CENTER BUT IT IS ADVISED THAT ANYONE SEEKING WARMTH BRING THEIR OWN DRINKING WATER.\u00a0<\/p>\n
