Outbound
\nadding in Utah. Outbound Hotels is developing the 182-key Outbound Park City, an alpine retreat set to open in early 2027 following a comprehensive
\nreimagination of the property.
\nOutbound Park City follows earlier investments between investor Barings and Waterton,
\nincluding The Virginian Lodge in Jackson Hole, Outbound Stowe in Vermont, and
\nthe planned Outbound Sedona, set to open in the second quarter of this year.<\/p>\n
Uptown Dallas hotel planned. A pair of Dallas-based companies, Cawley Partners and Alamo
\nManhattan, have acquired a 27,000-sq. ft. office building in Uptown Dallas from
\nFirst United Trust for an undisclosed amount. The developers intend to tear
\ndown the building and turn it into a $50 million hotel, according to The Dallas
\nMorning News. Construction is expected to start in 18 months. The hotel will
\nhave around 140 keys and the developers are in talks with different operators.<\/p>\n
LondonMetric
\nadds 9 in the UK. London-based REIT LondonMetric Property has acquired nine Premier Inn hotels in
\nthe U.K. in a sale-and-leaseback deal for \u00a389 million. The deal adds 955 rooms
\nto LondonMetric\u2019s portfolio and increases the company\u2019s ownership to 22 Premier
\nInn assets, making it Whitbread\u2019s fourth largest occupier. In September,
\nLondonMetric completed a \u00a344 million acquisition of five hotels from Whitbread.<\/p>\n
Refi in
\nAtlanta. Atlanta-based REM Associates has refinanced the 265-key Candler Hotel in
\nAtlanta. The hotel, which is part of Hilton\u2019s Curio Collection and managed
\nby Highgate Hotels, is near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
\nPeachtree facilitated the transaction.<\/p>\n
HEI adds
\n3 in Texas. Norwalk,
\nConnecticut-based HEI Hotels & Resorts has added three properties in The
\nWoodlands, Texas, to its portfolio. The portfolio includes The Woodlands
\nResort, Curio Collection by Hilton; The Westin at The Woodlands; and the
\nEmbassy Suites The Woodlands at Hughes Landing. Los Angeles-based Ascendant
\nCapital Partners recently acquired all three properties.<\/p>\n
Kinseth
\nadds in New York. Coralville, Iowa-based Kinseth Hospitality Companies (KHC) has added the
\n134-key Courtyard by Marriott Middletown Goshen in Middletown, New York, to its
\nmanagement portfolio. This is KHC\u2019s first property in New York.<\/p>\n
IHG adds
\nin Thailand. IHG
\nHotels & Resorts is partnering with Proud Real Estate Public Co. Ltd.
\n(PROUD) for the 111-key The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort. Each
\nresidence is connected to the InterContinental Phuket Resort in Thailand. IHG
\nand PROUD have another branded residence project in Thailand in the
\nInterContinental Residences Hua Hin.<\/p>\n
The
\nBelize Collection adds in Placencia. Belmopan City, Belize-based The Belize Collection has taken
\nover management of the Blue Reef Beach Resort and Marina, a beachfront property
\nin Placencia, Belize, formerly known as Robert\u2019s Grove Beach Resort. The
\ntransition includes Blue Reef Beach Resort, Blue Reef Island, the marina, and
\ntwo on-site restaurants. Blue Reef Beach joins The Belize Collection\u2019s
\nportfolio of hospitality experiences across Southern Belize alongside flagship
\nresort The Rainforest Lodge at Sleeping Giant and The Lodge at Jaguar Reef.<\/p>\n
Melia
\nadds in Italy. Palma,
\nSpain-based Melia Hotels International has expanded its presence in Italy,
\nsigning a deal to add a hotel in the Dolomites to its Affiliated by Melia
\ncollection brand. The new 53-key hotel will join the group when it opens in May
\nand will be Melia\u2019s 16th hotel in Italy.<\/p>\n
Kimpton
\ndebuts in Malaysia. Kimpton is making its Malaysian debut with the opening of Kimpton Naluria Kuala
\nLumpur. Owned by LQ Hotel Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Lendlease and TRX
\nCity Sdn Bhd, this opening is within the Tun Razak
