Every penny stays in Lubbock to help kids at UMC Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The program involves students from kindergarten through 12th grade raising pennies for Children\u2019s Miracle Network. Schools can win prizes for their participation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Schools interested in joining the 2026 Children\u2019s Miracle Network Miracle Pennies campaign are invited to a kickoff event Thursday, Jan. 22, from noon to 1:15 p.m. at CenterPoint Event Center.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Schools can reserve a seat for lunch by contacting desri.jones@umchealthsystem.com.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 KCBD.
