CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 The Corpus Christi Police Foundation has released its 2026 \u201c100 Club\u201d decal, giving residents a new way to support police programs that are not funded through the city budget.<\/p>\n
The $100 decal is available to community members who want to show their support for local officers. It can be displayed on vehicles, at homes or anywhere supporters choose.<\/p>\n
Proceeds go directly to the Corpus Christi Police Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps fund equipment, training and technology not covered by municipal funding.<\/p>\n
Randall Hicks, a board member of the foundation, said the organization fills critical funding gaps for the Corpus Christi Police Department.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf the Police Foundation did not exist, there would not be 10 drones activated by the police department today. There would not be nine K-9 officers, there would not be a whole list of training we have been able to support because they are not in the budget,\u201d Hicks said.<\/p>\n
Hicks said those resources directly support officer safety, specialized response and ongoing training needs.<\/p>\n
