The PSS kicks off in Austin this year, at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday Prelims Event Schedule<\/p>\n<p>Women\u2019s 50 free<br \/>\nMen\u2019s 50 free<br \/>\nWomen\u2019s 100 breast<br \/>\nMen\u2019s 100 breast<br \/>\nWomen\u2019s 200 IM<br \/>\nMen\u2019s 200 IM<br \/>\nWomen\u2019s 100 back<br \/>\nMen\u2019s 100 back<\/p>\n<p>This morning\u2019s prelims session is scheduled to be a short one, coming in at a little over an hour. Overall, this is a fairly small, with only 30 total heats in this entire session.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll be kicking things off with the 50 freestyle. <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"Simone Manuel Bio\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/bio\/simone-manuel\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Simone Manuel<\/a> is the top seed in the women\u2019s 50 free, coming in with a 24.13. Manuel will be swimming in her home pool, as she trains at Texas under Bob Bowman. On the men\u2019s side of things, <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"Jack Alexy Bio\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/bio\/jack-alexy\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jack Alexy<\/a> comes in as the top seed with a 21.32. Jack Kelly and Van Mathias are the only other swimmers seeded under 1:00, coming in with times of 59.72 and 59.74 respectively.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"Summer McIntosh Bio\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/bio\/summer-mcintosh\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Summer McIntosh<\/a> is the clear favorite in the women\u2019s 200 IM. McIntosh comes in with a 2:05.70, making her the top seed by over 5 seconds. In the men\u2019s 200 IM, <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"Leon Marchand Bio\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/bio\/leon-marchand\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Leon Marchand<\/a> and <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"Shaine Casas Bio\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/bio\/shaine-casas\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Shaine Casas<\/a> are set to race. Gastaldello was the only swimmer in the field to go under 25 seconds, setting herself up well for finals.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/bio\/simone-manuel\/\" class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"Simone Manuel Bio\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Simone Manuel<\/a>, the top seed coming into the morning, was 25.10 this morning. With such a thin field at this meet, it\u2019s hard to know how much weight to put into prelims performances, so we\u2019ll just have to wait until tonight to see what Manuel has in the
