EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 El Paso police have arrested two people, both residents of East El Paso, in connection with a Christmas Day assault involving a handgun. <\/p>\n

Officers arrested 32-year-old Raquel Maria Cazares and 32-year-old Aaron Theocharides.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred on Dec. 25, 2025, at a residence in the 13000 block of Alfredo Apodaca Dr. <\/p>\n

According to the preliminary investigation, Cazares and Theocharides initiated an altercation with three female victims outside the home. <\/p>\n

During the confrontation, Cazares assaulted one of the victims, while Theocharides brandished a handgun, pointed it at the victims, and struck them with the weapon before fleeing the scene. <\/p>\n

Arrest warrants were obtained, and both suspects were apprehended on Jan. 3, 2026. <\/p>\n

They were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.<\/p>\n
