Houston \u2013 The third annual Mix-MATCH Festival<\/a> is rolling back into Midtown Arts and Theater Center Houston (MATCH) this Saturday for a vibrant, one-day celebration of Houston\u2019s vibrant creative community.<\/p>\n

With 23 dynamic performances and art installations handpicked from over 70 submissions through a blind peer review, this festival showcases everything from performance art and dance to film, music, spoken word, comedy, poetry and visual arts.<\/p>\n

One of the standout acts this year is Daisies & Pancakes<\/a>, a roller skating dance crew and custom skate shop founded by Brandi Myasia. Fusing sneaker culture with skate life, they\u2019ve built a passionate community through lessons and events at spots like Texas Southern University and Discovery Green. Mark your calendar for Saturday, Jan. 17, with performances at 3:15, 4:45, 6:30 and 8 p.m. <\/p>\n

Tickets are $15 per show or grab a festival pass for $40, which includes two drink tickets. <\/p>\n

The gallery exhibition is free and open to all.<\/p>\n
