EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 Habitat for Humanity has gifted a new home to the Mathis family, creating a heartwarming scene as they transition from a one-bedroom apartment to a three-bedroom house. <\/p>\n
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that builds and repairs affordable homes for families in need, and provides safe, decent housing with affordable mortgages. <\/p>\n
Taylor Moreno, executive director of development and community outreach for Habitat for Humanity, said, “These girls are so excited just to have a backyard, to have a place that they can come home and call their own space, you know, because they’re moving from a one-bedroom apartment, all four of them to a three-bedroom home.” <\/p>\n
