Nn\u00e9d\u1ecbmm\u00e1y\u00e1 linked with College of Hip-Hop Knowledge co-founder\/rapper \u201cBig Mic\u201d Pereida for their new single, \u201cVillain.\u201d The Jsun the Prophesor-produced track features spacey synths as Nnedi calls out global atrocities that occur because \u201cpower wants more power.\u201d After singing throughout the track, she concludes with a sternly delivered call for action: \u201cIt\u2019s time for eyes on Congo, eyes on Sudan\u2026 eyes on Palestine\u2026 we fight until we are all free. We fight until there is freedom for all.\u201d This show acts as a single release party for \u201cVillain,\u201d with support from Meddah and StormShadow.<\/p>\n

Saturday 17, 3ten ACL Live<\/p>\n

Indie-folk band the 4411 (\u201cAs You Please\u201d) returns home for a headline show after touring through Florida earlier this month. The group\u2019s most recent single, \u201cHer,\u201d was released back in November. Openers are fellow locals Vision Arcade and Barb.<\/p>\n
