MLK Jr. Vigil at Rice University: Join the Rice community on Sunday, Jan. 18, for a free, public vigil honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event begins with a 5:30 p.m. reception followed by the program at 6 p.m. in Kraft Hall, Room 130. Parking is available in the Central Campus Garage. This event is hosted by the Rice Black Men\u2019s Association and Multicultural Community Relations.<\/p>\n
MLK Unity Parade<\/a>: Join Houston\u2019s MLK Unity Parade on Monday, Jan. 19, downtown to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Join a community celebration highlighted by floats and live performances.
