{"id":125855,"date":"2026-01-16T16:04:08","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T16:04:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/125855\/"},"modified":"2026-01-16T16:04:08","modified_gmt":"2026-01-16T16:04:08","slug":"united-airlines-to-launch-nonstop-service-from-bradley-to-houston","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/125855\/","title":{"rendered":"United Airlines to launch nonstop service from Bradley to Houston"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">WINDSOR LOCKS, CT (WFSB) &#8211; United Airlines will soon fly nonstop from Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks to Houston.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Connecticut Airport Authority announced the upcoming service on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The CAA said the year-round service starts on May 21, 2026 and will utilize a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The destination will be Houston\u2019s George Bush Intercontinental Airport.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cWe are thrilled that United is expanding its footprint at Bradley International Airport and offering our passengers another nonstop destination,\u201d said Michael Shea, executive director and CEO of the CAA. \u201cThis flight will offer greater convenience to those traveling to the Houston area and allow passengers to connect to other destinations within United\u2019s global network.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">United said it was excited to launch the service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThis route is an exciting addition to United\u2019s route network and provides our customers with greater access to not only the two cities, but to destinations around the world with one-stop connections through Houston,\u201d said Mark Weithofer, United\u2019s managing director of domestic network planning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">For ticket information and flight schedules, head to United\u2019s website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.united.com\/en\/us\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.united.com\/en\/us\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WFSB.
