COLLEGE STATION, Texas \u2013 The spring season has arrived for the UT Arlington men’s tennis team. The Mavericks return to action with a matchup against the Texas A&M Aggies at 6\u00a0p.m. Saturday. UTA will travel to the Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station for the match.<\/p>\n
This is the ninth time in their history the Mavericks have faced the Aggies. The previous matchup between the two occurred during the 2022-23 season. UTA is seeking its first-ever win over Texas A&M. It’s the first of two January matches for the Mavericks, who also face Oklahoma State on January 24.<\/p>\n

\nTexas A&M comes into the bout ranked No. 13 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings and was picked to finish third in the Southeastern Conference by the league’s coaches. The Aggies also feature two ITA-ranked singles players in sophomore Alexander Frusina \u2013 ranked 73rd \u2013 and junior Khololwam Montsi, who is ranked 112th. The pair also make up the No. 29 ranked doubles team.<\/p>\n
