Officials with Dallas Animal Services are planning two adoption events this weekend.<\/p>\n
The shelter will hold adoption<\/a> events on January 17 \u2013 one in Highland Village, and one in Dallas.<\/p>\n \u201cLooking for a new best friend? We\u2019ve got two chances to meet adoptable DAS pets this Saturday,\u201d DAS officials wrote. \u201cCome snuggle, shop, and maybe go home with your new co-pilot.\u201d<\/p>\n The adoption event in Highland Village will run<\/a> from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. near Walmart Supercenter and PetSmart, at 3060 Justin Road.\u00a0<\/p>\n The event in Dallas will run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. near Half Price Books, at 5803 E. Northwest Highway.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWhether you\u2019re ready to adopt, thinking about fostering, or just want to show some love to shelter pets \u2014 come say hi,\u201d officials wrote. \u201cEvery visit helps our animals shine.\u201d<\/p>\n Two weeks later, on January 31, Dallas Animal Services is planning<\/a> two free<\/a> adoption events.<\/p>\n The shelter will offer<\/a> free adoptions at a \u201cBernie\u2019s Buddy\u201d event at 5474 Grandscape Blvd. in The Colony. This event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.<\/p>\n Dallas Animal Services will also offer free adoptions<\/a> at the Crockett Dog Park dedication ceremony, at 501 N. Carroll Ave. in Dallas.
