As part of Crew-11, NASA astronauts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/people\/zena-cardman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Zena Cardman<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/people\/edward-michael-mike-fincke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Mike Fincke,<\/a> JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut <a href=\"https:\/\/gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fhumans-in-space.jaxa.jp%2Fen%2Fastronaut%2Fyui-kimiya%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7Cjoseph.a.zakrzewski%40nasa.gov%7Ce9776bcb8e8240bc7cfc08de554fe58c%7C7005d45845be48ae8140d43da96dd17b%7C0%7C0%7C639041998789484832%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=Rw5qOUlKwM1hwS2gYP98GZNI%2FZHcnoyT8D%2BJJHKCEuM%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Kimiya Yui<\/a>, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov safely splashed down on Jan. 15 off the coast of San Diego, successfully completing a more than five month mission aboard the International Space Station. <\/p>\n<p>Following splashdown and recovery, the four crew members completed a planned overnight stay at a local medical facility for additional evaluation and have been released as expected. All crew members remain stable.
