Boo\u2019s Burgers | 2510 Navigation, Houston <\/p>\n

Chris follows the local foodie buzz to Boo\u2019s Burgers<\/a>, the new destination everyone\u2019s talking about \u2014 and for good reason. What started as a beloved pop-up has found a permanent home in the esplanade along Navigation Boulevard. <\/p>\n

The star of the show is the Boo\u2019s OG \u2014 a smashburger built on attention to detail and quality ingredients that hint at just how serious this kitchen is about its craft. <\/p>\n

That careful execution also extends to its non-burger offerings too. The Shroom Sammie, a fried oyster mushroom sandwich with lemon pepper wet seasoning makes Boo\u2019s a great stop for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.<\/p>\n

Tookie\u2019s|406 Texas Ave., Kemah<\/p>\n

After Boo\u2019s, Chris cruises down to Kemah for a burger that\u2019s been a standard in the Bay Area for 50 years. Tookie\u2019s<\/a> has been serving burgers since 1975, and while trends have come and gone, this local institution has kept things fresh without losing its soul.<\/p>\n

Their house-pressed beef patties are cooked fresh daily, then dressed with crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and mayo. If you love a classic, the Tookie\u2019s cheeseburger is for you, but they haven\u2019t rested on the tried and true. <\/p>\n

Tookie\u2019s keeps things interesting with an evolving menu of dressed up burgers like The Squealer with bacon blended into the beef patty and the Rodeo Burger – a beef patty marinated in BBQ sauce and topped with thin, crispy onion rings. <\/p>\n
