He was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Investigators noted that the vehicle and a nearby residence were riddled with multiple bullet holes. Here&#8217;s what we know.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Less than an hour later, around 5 a.m., officers were called to the 6800 block of West Military Drive for an assault in progress.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police said a 57-year-old man, identified as a security guard, had been struggling with a 46-year-old woman who had previously been banned from the property.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to a preliminary police report, the security guard was struck multiple times before officers arrived. The report did not state with what the man was struck.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The woman was detained at the scene.
