Police Lights on top of car (KPRC2\/Click2Houston.com)<\/p>\n

A suspect was taken into custody after injuring another person in a shooting in southeast Houston.<\/p>\n

The incident happened at 11:41 a.m. Monday morning in the 2600 block of McGowen Street.<\/p>\n

Officers with METRO Police Department quickly responded to reports of shots being fired. They apprehended and arrested the suspect without further violence.<\/p>\n

The incident did not involve a Houston METRO vehicle, authorities confirmed.<\/p>\n

The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries, but their condition is not clear at this time.<\/p>\n
