Students develop crucial communication skills while celebrating their communities\u2019 cultural diversity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Eight finalists delivered three-to-five-minute speeches addressing this year\u2019s theme: \u201cAs a student of Dr. King\u2019s life, what message of hope do you think he would have for the world today?\u201d Each presentation wove together the theme with lessons from Dr. King\u2019s teachings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">All finalists received substantial prizes, including laptops, personalized plaques, gift bags, and monetary awards from sponsor Foley &amp; Lardner LLP.
