DALLAS, Texas \u2014 A man was fatally shot after allegedly pointing a gun at another individual on Hunnicut Road, according to Dallas police. The incident occurred on January 17, 2026, around 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

The victim, identified as 30-year-old Anthony Turner, of Dallas, Texas, died at the scene despite efforts from Dallas Fire-Rescue, stated the source. The motives and circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and a Grand Jury Referral is expected in the case. The investigation is ongoing and documented under case numbers 008397-2026 and 008546-2026.<\/p>\n
