Her teammates graduated and went off to college, but their project inspired younger students, who raised even more money in 2025. The next round of students has stepped up in a big way, and they\u2019re planning the biggest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prekindle.com\/event\/56634-3rd-annual-hope-healing-cancer-with-music-dallas\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hope Healing Cancer with Music<\/a> festival yet.<\/p>\n<p>Funds raised will go to <a href=\"https:\/\/bloodcancerunited.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Blood Cancer United<\/a>, formerly the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Two student teams are hosting the event, with LHHS senior Ellie Brown and Richardson High senior Hailey Tillery leading \u201cBlood Sweat &amp; Cures,\u201d and Hockaday senior Lauren Lockhart leading \u201cCureQuest.\u201d Tillery\u2019s sister is a leukemia survivor, and multiple LHHS students participate on both teams.<\/p>\n<p>The music festival will be held Sunday, Feb. 22 at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.granadatheater.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Granada Theater<\/a>, 3524 Greenville Avenue. Bands will perform from noon to 6 p.m., and doors open at 11 a.m. There will be a silent auction, games to win gift cards, a full cash bar with mimosas and Bloody Marys and more.<\/p>\n<p>Performers include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/thecharityeden\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Charity Eden<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/dannyjosephofficial\/?hl=en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Danny Joseph<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/remyreilly\/?hl=en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Remy Reilly<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/phanto.melo\/?hl=en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Phantomelo<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/grits.band\/?hl=en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Grits<\/a>. She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH&#8217;s Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough&#8217;s Blake Anderson Public Service Award. She received LHHS PTA&#8217;s Extended Service Award, FMJH PTA&#8217;s Charger Award and a Life Membership from the LHFC PTA. She has moderated candidate debates for Dallas Mayor, Dallas City Council and RISD Trustee races and taught seminars on garnering publicity for nonprofits. She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she&#8217;s a sustaining member of LH Women&#8217;s League.
