Instead, Carr, along with 19-year-old Thomas Hambrick, sped away.<\/p>\n As Carr was traveling westbound along 34th Street in the vehicle, he crashed into an SUV<\/a> driven by Emma Underwood, 26, who was driving south on Quaker Avenue.<\/p>\n Underwood was able to survive the collision, suffering minor injuries before being transported to University Medical Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n Carr and Hambrick exited the damaged vehicle following the crash and fled on foot.<\/p>\n A Second Collision Delays Police Backup<\/p>\n Another collision <\/a>occurred as a second responding officer was heading west along 34th Street crashed into a passenger vehicle heading north through the intersection of Indiana and 34th.
