When I was younger and growing up in DFW, there were a ton of Haunted Houses that I went to with family and with friends. And of course here in <a href=\"https:\/\/nightmareon19thstreet.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Lubbock Nightmare on 19th Street<\/a> is always a blast. It&#8217;s part of the entertainment of Halloween.<\/p>\n<p>But would you ever want to stay in a real Haunted House? You can. Right here in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kfyo.com\/tags\/around-texas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Texas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Most Haunted Home In Texas is in Mineral Wells<\/p>\n<p>Mineral Wells is home to what has been called, the most Haunted Home in Texas and one of the most haunted in America.\u00a0The Haunted Hill House was reportedly built before the Civil War, the home has been the site of murder, bootlegging, prostitution, and the occult according to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfaa.com\/article\/features\/freaky-friday-spend-night-one-most-haunted-houses-america-hill-house-mineral-wells\/287-5012a8b7-d828-4a35-b4fa-0a388726075d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">WFAA<\/a>. The owner of the home, won&#8217;t sleep in it and Katherine Estes, refuses to sleep in the home according to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfaa.com\/article\/features\/freaky-friday-spend-night-one-most-haunted-houses-america-hill-house-mineral-wells\/287-5012a8b7-d828-4a35-b4fa-0a388726075d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">WFAA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And yes, you can stay there.<\/p>\n<p>Renting the Haunted Hill House in Texas<\/p>\n<p>Yes, you can rent the house for an overnight (or longer) stay. But a word of caution, even the owners claim they have been &#8220;attacked&#8221; inside the home according to WFAA.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve had scratches, bite marks, burn marks, things carved in people\u2019s faces,\u201d said Katherine.<\/p>\n<p>A lot of it comes from an entity they call &#8220;Toby.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>One night, inside a room named after Toby, one of their guests took a picture and in the background is what appears to be a demonic figure. Katherine and Eddie believe it\u2019s Toby.<\/p>\n<p>Even the WFAA crew experienced some paranormal things while filming. And they haven&#8217;t been the only ones. In 2021, the host of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thetexasbucketlist.com\/2021\/11\/the-texas-bucket-list-haunted-hill-house-in-mineral-wells\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Texas Bucket List<\/a>\u00a0reported hearing voices when they stayed.
