ARLINGTON, TX \u2013\u00a0After the first week of indoor competition for the Mavericks, UT Arlington’s Daniel Armstrong<\/a>, Emilia Mandl<\/a> and Sophia Allen<\/a> have earned Western Athletic Conference weekly honors after strong performances at the Arkansas Invitational to kick off the indoor season. Mandl, the junior from Malmo, Sweden, earned first place in the women’s 800m race (2:09.23). With that time, Mandl ranks first in WAC and 34th\u00a0in the NCAA in the women’s 800.
