The statement did not specify what the traffic violation was or what tests for intoxication were conducted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Crain was arrested on a DWI charge, which is a Class B misdemeanor, and booked at the <a href=\"https:\/\/inmatesearch.tarrantcounty.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Tarrant County Jail;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Tarrant County Jail<\/a> about 12:30 Saturday morning. While this is a difficult moment, my responsibility to serve you will not change and I remain focused, as always, on the work ahead and serving as your representative on the City Council.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Crain did not go into detail about the arrest because it is an ongoing legal matter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A defense attorney to represent the council member is not yet listed in court records.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Crain is serving his third term on the council representing District 3. He was sworn in for his first two-year term in May 2021.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">His district covers parts of far west and southwest Fort Worth, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.star-telegram.com\/news\/local\/fort-worth\/article314320635.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:area around Texas Christian University;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">area around Texas Christian University<\/a>. He previously told the Star-Telegram that he\u2019s taken an active role bolstering the university\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fortworthtexas.gov\/departments\/communications\/engagement\/tcuneighbor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Neighbor-to-Neighbor program;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Neighbor-to-Neighbor program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Crain is a real estate broker. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fortworthtexas.gov\/government\/elected-officials\/michael-crain\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:his online bio;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">his online bio<\/a>, he served as chief of staff at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing before coming to Fort Worth and also worked in President George W.
