The shooting happened on Sunday just before 11 p.m.<\/p>\n

SAN ANTONIO \u2013 A 59-year-old man was hospitalized after he was shot in the head after an altercation at a West Side bar, according to San Antonio police. <\/p>\n

Arriving officers located the man outside of his SUV just before 11 p.m. in the 400 block of Historic Old Highway 90.<\/p>\n

The victim was believed to have gotten into an argument with a man inside a nearby bar. After leaving, the man grabbed a gun from his vehicle and shot the victim, who was sitting in his SUV, an SAPD preliminary report said.<\/p>\n

The suspect fled from the scene and has not been found, SAPD said. <\/p>\n

Police previously said a woman accompanied the shooter; however, the report does not indicate this information. <\/p>\n

The victim was unresponsive as he was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, SAPD said. <\/p>\n

Detectives are investigating the shooting.<\/p>\n
