{"id":135042,"date":"2026-01-23T13:22:08","date_gmt":"2026-01-23T13:22:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/135042\/"},"modified":"2026-01-23T13:22:08","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T13:22:08","slug":"americana-by-loews-hotels-marks-brands-third-arlington-site","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/135042\/","title":{"rendered":"Americana by Loews Hotels marks brand&#8217;s third Arlington site"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Loews Hotels &amp; Co has announced plans for Americana by Loews Hotels \u2013 Arlington, TX, marking the brand\u2019s third hotel in the city\u2019s Entertainment District.<\/p>\n<p>Set to replace the existing Sheraton Arlington Hotel, Americana by Loews Hotels will feature 507 guest rooms, including 39 suites.<\/p>\n<p>Designed with meetings and events at its core, the property will offer more than 83,000 square feet of total indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a 10,000-square foot Event Barn.<\/p>\n<p>Americana by Loews Hotels will be the brand\u2019s 28th property, and its name pays tribute to the iconic Americana Hotel in Bal Harbour, Florida \u2014 a Loews landmark that opened in 1956. <\/p>\n<p>A \u201cground-shaking\u201d event, where the existing Shearton Arlington hotel will be demolished, is planned for early June, marking the official start of construction on the new hotel this summer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis project reflects our strong belief in Arlington as a dynamic destination and our confidence in its continued growth,\u201d said Alex Tisch, president and chief executive officer of <a href=\"https:\/\/usa.boutiquehotelier.com\/kristie-goshow-joins-lowes-hotels-as-cco\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Loews Hotels &amp; Co<\/a>. \u201cAmericana by Loews Hotels honors our heritage while looking ahead, bringing together scale, service excellence, and design to support group and leisure travelers alike.
