This time he signed on with Cowboys\u2019 NFC East rival Philadelphia, the Eagles hiring Parker as their DBs coach and passing game coordinator to work directly underneath defensive guru Vic Fangio. Parker had worked with Fangio in Denver as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup _1teeyfa8 ls9zuh1\">With the help of Parker, Fangio and a dynamic All-Pro duo at corner in Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, the Eagles won the franchise\u2019s second Super Bowl last season. Parker was seen as a \u201csecret weapon\u201d of sorts in the Eagles\u2019 defensive room.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup _1teeyfa8 ls9zuh1\">\u201cHe\u2019s one of those coaches that gets his players,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.golongtd.com\/p\/the-philadelphia-eagles-secret-weapon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Eagles\u2019 safety Reed Blankenship said last season<\/a>. \u201cYeah, he\u2019s a little young, but I\u2019d much rather have a young coach like that because he understands us. And there\u2019s no barrier between us or him. We\u2019re going with the flow. Communicates all the time.
