DPS says a driver ran a stop sign at County Roads 36 and 77, causing a crash that claimed the lives of a Corpus Christi father and two of his children.<\/p>\n

ROBSTOWN, Texas \u2014 A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly crash in Robstown that killed a father and two children.<\/p>\n

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers obtained an arrest warrant for Joshua Galvan of Pharr, charging him with three counts of manslaughter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

DPS says Galvan was driving a Ford Ranger that ran a stop sign, causing the crash.<\/p>\n

Galvan was arrested Thursday afternoon after being released from Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital and booked into the Nueces County Jail.<\/p>\n

The crash happened on Jan. 15, at the intersection of County Road 36 and County Road 77.<\/p>\n

According to DPS, a 2019 Ford Ranger was traveling westbound on County Road 36 when it failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2005 Buick Rendezvous traveling southbound on County Road 77.<\/p>\n

The Buick was driven by Randy Rubio, 35, of Corpus Christi, who was traveling with his three children, ages 12, 5, and 4 after spending the evening at the livestock show carnival.
