The NRP Group<\/a> has completed and officially opened Thrive on Crawford<\/a>, a 67-unit mixed-income housing development in Fort Worth that integrates affordable housing with on-site healthcare services.<\/p>\n

Located at 1310 Crawford Street, the community includes apartments reserved primarily for households earning 30%, 50%, and 60% of the area median income, along with seven market-rate units. The development also features 2,200 square feet of Class-A commercial space leased to JPS Health Network, providing residents with direct access to healthcare services.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrive on Crawford was designed to go beyond traditional affordable housing \u2013 integrating wellness services, quality amenities and convenient access to healthcare into a single community,\u201d said Max Whipple, vice president of development at The NRP Group, in a statement. \u201cAs our first Health and Housing development in Texas, this development reflects The NRP Group\u2019s commitment to delivering thoughtful, high-quality housing in high-opportune cities.\u201d<\/p>\n

The project is adjacent to a key site in JPS Health Network\u2019s $2.1 billion bond program expansion and is intended to support healthcare workers, young professionals and families. Residents are located near shops, restaurants, and entertainment along Magnolia Avenue and have direct access to Interstate 35W.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrive on Crawford is a prime example of how healthcare can extend beyond traditional clinical settings to address the determinants of health,\u201d said Karen Duncan, president and CEO of JPS Health Network.<\/p>\n

The development offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with high-end finishes, private patios and storage units. Amenities include a business center with work pods, a 24-hour fitness center, a lounge with caf\u00e9, communal laundry facilities and an outdoor playground. On-site resident services include adult literacy workshops, financial training and youth afterschool and summer programs.<\/p>\n

Financing was provided by J.P. Morgan Chase and Berkadia, with tax credit equity from an investment fund managed by Red Stone Equity Partners, along with support from the Near Southside Financing Zone TIF and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. Wynne Jackson and Servitas co-developed the project.<\/p>\n
