Both have been transported to a local medical facility, according to Markle.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Markle said the officers were searching for the suspect of a separate shooting on McCardle Road. When they approached the suspect, he shot them.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CCPD Public Information Officer Antonio Contreras said this shooting is tied to an earlier shooting on McCardle Road that left one dead. The victim of that shooting suffered multiple gun shot wounds and was taken to Spohn Shoreline, where they died.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story.
