The man who died in a drive-by shooting<\/a> in Fort Worth<\/a> earlier this month has been identified, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

Gennadiy Potupchik, 34, died in the hospital of a gunshot wound to the torso, according to the medical examiner\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2000 block of Watauga Road at about 3:49 p.m. on Jan. 16, according to a previous statement.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived, they found Potupchik lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, the statement said.<\/p>\n

Fort Worth police arrested 24-year-old Saul Bosquez on Jan. 18 in connection with the shooting. He faces a murder charge.<\/p>\n

Investigators say Potupchik was walking on the road when an unknown person, presumed to be Bosquez, pulled past him and fired multiple rounds. <\/p>\n

Bosquez then fled the scene in a dark colored vehicle, according to the statement.<\/p>\n

As of Monday afternoon, Bosquez remains in the Tarrant County jail with a bail amount set at $750,000.<\/p>\n
